The South Florida native first joined the Local 10 family at age 18, fresh out of high school as an intern. Jen immediately fell in love with the business, and knew that covering the news was exactly what she wanted to do! She officially came on board as a general assignment reporter in May 2003.

In October 2003, she joined the morning news team as the station's first traffic anchor. While keeping an eye on the roads for South Florida drivers, Jen continued to cover news stories as well. She moved on to anchor the Local 10 News at Noon, the Local 10 Morning News on Saturday and Sunday, and later the Local 10 Evening News on Saturday and Sunday.

In March 2012, she travelled to Cuba along with Calvin Hughes to cover Pope Benedict XVI's visit to the communist island. They were the only anchors from South Florida allowed into the country for that historical visit. She's also crisscrossed the country covering the Miami Heat during their trips to the playoffs.

Jen graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and a minor in English. Jen is fluent in Spanish and loves covering the news in the area where she grew up.

Jen has had the opportunity to get involved with several organizations she holds near and dear to her heart, including Autism Speaks and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

While not at work, Jen loves spending time at home with her husband and two daughters.
