Sasha Andrade joined Local 10 in September 2007, kicking off the Neighborhood Crime Alert segment. She's still adjusting to the early mornings, but loves giving people information that will keep them safe throughout the day.
Sasha started her career in Houma, La., covering hurricanes in the bayous. Then she was off to a very cold Green Bay, Wis., where she reported the news, tried to stay warm and cheered for the Packers (even though she's a Dolphins fan above all).
Two years later, Sasha headed to Albuquerque, N.M., to investigate and break stories while enjoying the sunshine and the green chili.
These days she's just glad to be back home. The Miami native grew up in Kendall and Coral Gables, and is proud to be part of protecting her hometown from crime.
Sasha holds a degree in broadcast journalism from Loyola University in New Orleans. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running and spending time with her family.
