Barbara Walters is on the mend and said she watches her co-anchors on "The View" everyday.
ABC's veteran news woman phoned into the show Wednesday to tell the girls how she is doing.
Walters explained she contracted the chickenpox from someone who had shingles right before the presidential inauguration weekend. That is what caused her to faint and take a nasty fall down the stairs of the British ambassador's home. She received six stitches and had a concussion.
"I have been a little weak, I am not in any pain, I'm not scratching too much Joy, I'm not itching away, but I do feel weak and tired," Walters said.
Walters assured her co-anchors that she is feeling much better and that she is keeping a close eye on them from home.
"The View" fans can expect to see her back at the table in three weeks.
