Boca Raton teen Alan Koolik wins again in 'Jeopardy'

17-year-old Pine Crest student advances to 2-night finals in teen tournament competition

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – A Boca Raton teenager is one of three contestants remaining in the teen tournament edition of "Jeopardy."

Alan Koolik, a 17-year-old rising senior at the Pine Crest School, won $20,801 in Wednesday night's semifinals and advanced to compete in the two-game final round that can be seen Thursday and Friday night on Local 10.

Koolik won $31,001 in the first round last week.

Family, friends and teachers gathered at Koolik's school Wednesday night to watch him win again.

Koolik will compete against Cooper Lair, of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Jeff Xie, of Edison, New Jersey, for the $75,000 grand prize.

"Jeopardy" can be seen at 7:30 p.m. on Local 10.
