'Ride Along 2' begins production in South Fla.

Closures taking place on stretch of A1A in Fort Lauderdale Beach for filming

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Anyone going for a "Ride Along" the beach in Fort Lauderdale the next few days might be star struck.

The sequel to this year's action-comedy film of the same name reunites Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, but the setting shifts from Atlanta to South Florida this time.

Filming began earlier this month on South Beach, where the stars were recently spotted.

Production on the film has shifted to Fort Lauderdale Beach, where a stretch of State Road A1A has been closed on and off since Friday.
