Ultra Music Festival impacts weekend traffic

Traffic will be detoured in downtown Miami during event

MIAMI – Ultra Music Festival opened Friday and will impact traffic in downtown Miami throughout the weekend.

Gates opened at 4 p.m. Friday and will open at noon Saturday and Sunday.

More than 165,000 people are expected to attend the three-day event at Bayfront Park.

There will be traffic detours in effect during the festival.

All southbound traffic along Biscayne Boulevard are detoured west at Northeast Fourth Street to Northeast Second Avenue and continues southbound to Northeast Second Avenue.

Northbound traffic is reduced to two lanes and shifted to the southbound lanes of Southeast First Street and continues northbound until Northeast Fourth Street.
