MIAMI-DADE, Fla. – The One and Only Local 10 News' latest Make a Difference project was an extreme makeover that took two years and had the help of many generous members of our community.
Gratigny Plateau Park, 885 NW 117 St., is a serene haven that residents can now be proud of. Residents now have access to fitness stations, a toddler playground, walking paths, benches and a butterfly garden.
In a public and private partnership, Tom and Jesse Miller of Miller Construction Company took the project under their wing.
The partnership included more than two dozen other contributors and funding from the Building Better Communities General Obligation Bond Program, Community Development Block Grant and Park Impact Fees.
