PINECREST, Fla. – A naked man who fought with a neighbor and police officers died after he was tasered Monday.
The incident happened in the 5800 block of Southwest 132nd Terrace about 10:45 p.m.
According to Miami-Dade police report, 43-year-old Norman Oosterbroek, who lived a block away, was found naked inside the home. He and the homeowner got into an argument, then a fight.
During the fight, the homeowner saw Oosterbroek eat something, police said.
When officers arrived, they saw Oosterbroek fighting the homeowner, according to a police report. He then fought with officers, who tasered him.
When paramedics arrived, they transported him to a nearby hospital, where he died.
"She heard someone yell, 'It's going to be okay!'" said neighbor Dianne Zheng. "Then we saw a police car came and then I saw two fire truck. One came first and then a few minutes later, the other came."
The incident remains under investigation.
