2 dead in shooting outside Ray's Meat Market

Police say altercation at nearby park led to shooting

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. ā€“ Two people are dead after being shot outside a Fort Lauderdale business Tuesday, police said.

Fort Lauderdale police said two people were killed in the shooting in the parking lot of Ray's Meat Market.

Police spokeswoman DeAnna Greenlaw said at least three people were involved in an argument at nearby Blue Park when it turned physical.

She said the fight spilled into the parking lot when someone pulled out a gun and opened fire.

The wounded victim was taken to Broward General Medical Center. Detectives said the victim succumbed to his injuries Tuesday evening.

The two victims were not identified by police.

Local 10's Terrell Forney said a silver Cadillac was towed from the scene.
