HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a hit-and-run crash in Hollywood.
The car crash happened around 4:40 a.m. Monday.

Police say a 65-year-old white man was driving a scooter westbound on Pembroke Road. A vehicle traveling in the same direction crashed into the scooter and kept going. The victim was ejected from the scooter.
Investigators say a piece of the culprit's car was found at the scene. They are looking for a 2008 or newer model white Nissan Altima.
The victim remains in the Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Regional Hospital.
