The 15-year-old arrived at the American Airlines Arena for his broadcast debut in chauffeur-driven limousine and immediately joined the announcing team to prep for the game. Tyler with Eric Reid.
Tyler was on the air with Eric Reid and Tony Fiorentino during the 2nd quarter and worked with sideline reporter Jason Jackson during the pregame, halftime, and postgame segments.
He interviewed LeBron James courtside, visited the production truck, got a behind-the-scenes look at how the TV broadcast is produced, and sat along the baseline for the game against the Toronto Raptors when he wasn’t on the air.
Dwyane Wade hung with him on the postgame show and game him a game-worn jersey. Tyler’s whole family and a buddy were in the Heat’s house to share his special night.
