According to Coral Springs police, the incident began as a burglary investigation. Multiple police officers attempted to pull the suspects over in the 2500 block of North University Drive, but the driver wouldn't stop.

Police said the driver was driving on the wrong side of the road at one point and rammed an officer's police cruiser. That officer was not injured.

Police said the men also tried carjacking a victim but were unsuccessful.

The chase ended on the Sawgrass Expressway southbound, just north of Oakland Park Boulevard in Sunrise.
