NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – North Miami police charged two men accused of shooting an ATM serviceman during a robbery.
Police arrested Ricardo Eloi and Stanley Fluerant on May 16, according to Miami-Dade County jail records.

The pair robbed, beat, and shot 26-year-old Juan Carlos Canales in the parking lot of a North Miami condominium on May 5, according to police. After robbing and beating Canales, they locked him in the trunk of his company vehicle. When he was able to escape, they shot him, then fled in the car, police said.
Both Eloi and Fluerant are charged with attempted armed robbery, attempted kidnapping, and firearm use while committing a felony.
