2 injured in 4 vehicle crash
Two people were injured in a four-vehicle crash on Krome Avenue just south of Okeechobee Road.
The crash happened about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
A driver who was trying to make a left into a mobile home community abruptly hit the brake, said the Florida Highway Patrol. A driver behind the first vehicle swerved, hit a guardrail, and came to a stop.
A third driver swerved to avoid the first two vehicles and hit a fourth vehicle head on.
The driver of the third vehicle was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
The driver of the fourth vehicle was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
