North Miami police investigate after Justin McAdam, Kenson Pierre shot, killed

NORTH MIAMI, Fla. – North Miami police are investigating after two men -- one of whom was a South Florida rapper -- were shot and killed in front of a home early Wednesday morning.

Justin McAdam, 31, and Kenson Pierre, 22, were fatally shot in front of a home at 1130 NE 133rd St. shortly after 1:30 a.m.

Pierre is better known by his rapper persona, Short Kidd.

"We all loved him and now we don't have him anymore," sister Merlande Pierre told Local 10.

She said he didn't have any enemies.

McAdam was a videographer who often collaborated with Pierre in making his music videos.

Anyone with any information about the shooting is asked to call North Miami police at 305-891-0294.

"Please, please, if you know anything, call," Merlande Pierre said. "Let us know."
