200 mile race to Key West kicks off

Thousands of runners began two day relay race

KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. – Five thousand runners laced up for the Ragnar 200-mile Relay Race. The event kicked off at Key Biscayne, travels southwest through Key Largo and ends Saturday night at the Southernmost Hotel & Resort in Key West.

"By the end I am exhausted, but just super happy I ran from Miami to Key West," said Kathy Reimer.

"It's very exhilarating, we're really tired but are ready to get running," said Sarah Huddleston.

Five hundred teams from 47 states compete while sporting costumes, head lamps and vests.
