The 2013 Lauderdale Air Show ends Sunday. The event features a long line up of demonstrations, flyovers, and aerobatic performances.
Air Show general viewing on the beach is free. Premium Viewing extends from Sunrise Blvd to NE 14th Court on A1A and the adjacent beach.
Police said they haven't had any problems throughout the Air Show. Many members of the community had very positive things to say about the officers that worked throughout the event, said police.
The opening of the show also means the closure of surrounding roads.
A1A between Sunrise Boulevard and Northeast 14th Court will remain closed until 7 p.m. Monday, April 22. No through traffic will be allowed south of Northeast 19th Street during the closure.
Motorists were also encouraged to seek alternative routes, as the eastbound lanes of Sunrise Blvd remained closed to the Air Show.
