3 arrested for items stolen in April

3 charged with grand theft

MARATHON, Fla. – According to Monroe County Sheriff's Department, three Marathon men were arrested in connection with a theft crime that took place April 11.

The victim reported that someone entered his room and took a tablet computer, a cashbox with $200 inside and a gold Tarpon pendant.

Investigators found that the pendant was pawned the same day that it was stolen at Joe's Cash Flow Pawn Shop. According to records, the item was pawned by Brandon Mixon, 20. Further investigations found that Joseph Zecca, 25, and Charles Hosendove, 22, were also involved in the theft of the items.

All three men were booked Monday and charged with grand theft. Mixon was also charged with giving false information when pawning the stolen items.
