3rd victim identified in I-95 crash

20-year-old woman remains in critical condition

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol identified the third victim of a crash that sent a SUV flying off Interstate 95 and into a lake in Deerfield Beach.

FHP says Lyn Theodore, 15; her mother Nadege Theodore, 37; and, Guivens Daverman, 16, were killed in the crash late Wednesday between Hillsboro Boulevard and SW 10th Street.

A fourth victim, 20-year-old Sandalie Jean-Baptiste, remains hospitalized in critical condition at Broward Health North.

Police say the group of relatives was headed home from the Boca Town Center when their Lexus SUV collided with two cars, spun off the highway, through a fence and into a lake – trapping the four people inside.

The drivers of the other vehicles involved weren't injured.
