400 pounds of pot washes up on Fla. beach

JUPITER, Fla. -

Authorities are investigating after about 400 pounds of marijuana valued at over $1 million washed ashore in South Florida.

Police said a fisherman discovered several burlap sacks along the shoreline in Jupiter on Saturday morning.

Investigators searched the area and found more marijuana, eventually recovering 75 packages of pot.
