7 arrested, suspected of sale of illegal narcotics at AlleyCat Bar

Hollywood police say arrestees suspected of also serving alcohol after hours

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – The Hollywood Police Department said its officers recently arrested seven people in connection with the sale of illegal narcotics and serving alcohol after established hours at a Hollywood bar and grill.

Hollywood police received information about alcohol, cocaine and other drugs being sold and consumed within the AlleyCat Bar after the bar's 2 a.m. closing time, authorities said. The bar and grill is at 1820 S. Young Circle.

Detectives with the department's Vice, Intelligence and Narcotics Unit, Street Crimes Unit and Downtown Unit conducted a two-month undercover operation that resulted in seven arrests.

Hollywood police said Juliano Carbonell, Raymond Williams, Chi-Cheong Li, Ka Yee Ko, Pedro Vega, Dean Parks and AnaBeth Mercado were arrested.

One of those arrested is a documented member of a local gang, according to Hollywood police.
