An 80-year-old South Florida man died just days after he was beaten during a home invasion robbery.
Palm Beach Sheriff's deputies said two robbers attacked two homeowners inside their garage in their home near Boynton Beach on Friday night.
Lauren Kanoff said the robbers beat her and her father Albert Honigman and then took several pieces of jewelry from them.
Doctors transported Honigman to the hospital for his injuries.
Over the next two days, Honigman was released from the hospital, re-admitted and then released again.
On Jan. 13, Kanoff said she found her father dead in his bed at home.
An autopsy found that Honigman died from blunt force trauma to the head.
Anyone with information about this robbery and murder is urged to call Crimestoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
