Armed robbery caught on camera

Miami-Dade Police release surveillance video showing an armed robbery.


An armed robbery was caught on camera in northwest Miami-Dade.

The robbery happened in the 2300 block of Northwest 52nd Street on October 10.

According to Miami-Dade Police, the victim was working on a driveway when a robber stunned him. Another robber then pointed a gun at him and demanded money.

The robbers then took the victim and put him into a white cargo van. His wrists were tied and his mouth was covered with duct tape.

The robbers then drove the victim to his home in the 3200 block of NW 23rd Avenue and stole two computers and his white, 2001 Ford Econoline van with Florida tag AXNG21.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crimestoppers at 305-471-TIPS (8477).
