BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -

Police have made an arrest after a local movie theater was forced to evacuate because of a bomb threat.

Boynton Beach Police evacuated movie-goers and workers from the Cinemark Theaters on North Congress Ave. on Sunday night after a clerk said she received a hand-written note that there was a bomb in the business.

During the investigation, theater clerk Chrislaine Jean Louis, 17, told police an unknown man had given her a movie ticket receipt with the threat on the back of the receipt.

Detectives said the threat read exactly: "I have a bomb and 5 gun on me plan 1) kill everyone and me."

Police emptied the theater but could not find any threat.

They then reviewed theater surveillance tapes to see if they could find the man the clerk was talking about. They found no one matching his description.

Detectives then re-interviewed Jean Louis and said she confessed to writing the note.

She was arrested and charged with making a threat to discharge a destructive device. Jean Louis was then taken to the Palm Beach County Juvenile Assessment Center.

No motive for the threat was revealed.
