BSO: Child falls from 3rd floor window
Updated On: Mar 25 2013 10:24:45 AM EDT
A 5-year-old girl was airlifted to the hospital on Sunday after she fell out of a window, deputies say.
It happened at 8030 Hamptons Boulevard in North Lauderdale.
The Broward Sheriff's Office said the girl fell from a third story window in a condo around 12:45 p.m.
Fire Rescue transported the child by air to Broward Health Medical Center, where she is listed in critical condition.
Detectives said they will continue to investigate the incident, but it appears that the girl leaned against the screen, which gave way.
