Family members identified a 15-year-old boy shot in the back while riding his bike in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood.
"There was nothing else connected to this but a drive-by shooting," said Sam Willis, Aaron's father.
Willis said his son was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
"My whole life fell out on the floor in front of me because for 14, 15 years, I've taken good care of that boy. We are close," said Sam Willis, the boy's father. "His spine is cut. His spinal cord is cut where that bullet went through his back."
Willis fears his son may be paralyzed. He said Aaron is a ninth grader at Booker T. Washington High School.
Two other teens who were with the teenager at the time of the shooting were questioned by police Wednesday night, authorities said.
Police say they didn't have a description of the shooter, but that he or she could be driving a white Nissan Altima.
"There is absolutely nothing I would like to say to them. I would like for them to have to look at themselves in the mirror and see what they did to my son," said Willis.
