Boy suffering from illness attempts to break record

Dalton Dingus is a 9-year-old boy who doesn't have long to live, but he still has a dream.
The Salyersville, KY boy has Stage 4 cystic fibrosis and has been sent to the comfort of his home from the hospital because doctors have told his family there is nothing else they can do.
But before he goes, Dingus wants to beat the Guinness Book of World Records for receiving the most Christmas cards. The current record is 35,000 cards and the young boy is almost there.
Dingus and his family are not looking for money, just cards. A lot of people are looking for ways to help Dalton in his final days and this is what he says he'd like to do.
