PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. -

The Broward County Fair, complete with a petting zoo and toddler-sized rides, returns to Pembroke Pines on Thursday.

The fair, located at 10300 Pines Boulevard, opens at 4 p.m. Thursday.

It will have cotton candy, fried dough, and roller coasters. Spokeswoman Minda Moticker told Local 10 the fair has added more attractions for families with younger children.

There will even be kangaroos and a Bengal tiger.

Your entrance ticket pays for other entertainment, including live musical performances and a Vegas-style Belmont Magic Show.

Opening night brings the biggest bargain. Thursday night is Hollywood KIA's "Carload Night." The price to enter and receive unlimited rides is $50 at the door or $40 online for an entire carload.

Moticker reminds families that car loads will only be accepted if all people are strapped in securely.
