Burglars hit Sprint store

iPads, iPhones stolen

MIAMI – Police are looking the burglars who broke into a Sprint store in west Miami-Dade.

The burglary happened at Vidal Communication, a Sprint store, located at 8766 W. Flagler Street, overnight Friday.

Police say the burglar smashed the glass door of the business and then stole an iPad mini, an iPad, an iPhone 4, and several other smartphones. The stolen devices are worth about $2,400.

Detectives were looking at surveillance video from the store.

Smartphones have become a hot commodity for crooks.

Two weeks ago, surveillance video recorded a robbery at a Radio Shack in Pompano Beach, where three armed men stormed into the store and stole bags of iPhone 5s.
