Businesses shot up in North Miami Beach

Shootout leaves bullet holes, shattered glasses

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A shooting outside of a strip mall in North Miami Beach left bullet holes and shattered glass at several businesses.

The shooting happened on NE 163rd Street and 10th Avenue about 1 a.m. Tuesday.

One man was shooting at another man's car, said North Miami Beach Police. The driver was shot in the hand and at least six bullets hit his vehicle.

At least four other bullets hit surrounding businesses.

"I see the broken glass. I don't even know what is going on," said business owner Henncy Nacillon. "It's scary for my business."

The driver who was shot drove himself to Jackson North Medical Center, where he is undergoing treatment.

No arrests have been made.
