MIAMI – The Annual Calle Ocho Street Festival will take place on Sunday, March 10, 2013.
The Festival officially starts at 11:00 AM and ends at 7:00 PM. This year, the Calle Ocho Festival will take place on SW 8 Street from SW 27 Avenue to SW 8 Avenue.

Streets closures are as follows:
- Beginning on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at 11:30 PM, eastbound traffic on SW 8 Street from SW 27 Ave to SW 7 Ave will be closed. Traffic traveling eastbound on SW 8 Street will be detoured north or southbound on SW 27 Ave.
- Miami- Dade Transit buses which normally travel along SW 8 Street will be detoured. Please check with Miami-Dade Transit Agency for further information.
- SW 7 Street will remain open westbound until SW 8 Ave, then detoured north.
Residents that live in the area will be allowed access on a "local traffic only" basis to SW 7 Street on the north side or on the south side of SW 9 Street.
Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes, if they need to travel in the vicinity. City of Miami Police Officers will be placed along the closure to provide assistance.
SW 8 Street will reopen for vehicular traffic by 5:00 AM on Monday, March 11, 2013.
