Coast Guard evacuates 62-year-old

A 62 year-old man was medically evacuated from a diving vessel by a Coast Guard rescue crew near Key West on Saturday, according to authorities.
The Coast Guard said it received a report that a crewmember aboard the diving vessel Dare suffered a severe hand injury and needed urgent medical attention.
An urgent marine information broadcast was issued. The Coast Guard said it launched a rescue boat crew from its Key West station to the scene.
The man was picked up by the rescue crew and taken to the station, where he was transferred to local paramedics.
His condition was not immediately released.
