DAVIE, Fla. -

Police are searching for a man who allegedly attempted to lure three girls as they were walking to school.

On Monday around 7:11 a.m., police said the girls met the man in the parking lot of 6550 SW 39th Street in Davie.

The man drove a vehicle that, according to police, appears to possibly be a Suzuki XL7, and mumbled when he spoke.

Davie police describe the man as Hispanic, 23 to 25 years old, has short to medium length hair and the top of his hair was spiked. Authorities said he has brown eyes with bushy eyebrows and also has a short-trimmed, scruffy mustache.

The man wore black pants and black shirt, similar to a polo shirt, and has a name embroidered in white writing on the right side of the shirt, said police.
