A group of bicyclists on U.S. 27 north of Griffin Road was hit by a car Saturday, according to authorities.
At 8:44 a.m., Broward Fire Rescue responded to the scene of a crash in the northbound lanes of U.S. 27, according to authorities.
The Broward Sheriff's Office said four cyclists were injured. Of those, two were trauma alerts. Paramedics transported one victim by air and three by ground to Broward Health.
U.S. 27 was closed for a short time while the helicopter landed, but it has been reopened.
