Drug trafficking suspect turns self in

BSO: Kendrick Similien, 36, was out on bond, supposed to turn himself in

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Broward Crime Stoppers and BSO detectives say a narcotics trafficking suspect has turned himself in at the BSO Main Jail.

Kendrick Similien, also known as "Newport," was wanted for several drug trafficking warrants.

BSO said Similien turned himself in Friday afternoon after detectives say he felt the pressure after authorities were onto his whereabouts.

Similien, 36, is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 210 pounds. He also has gold teeth.

Broward Crime Stoppers was offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Similien.
