Dwyane Wade makes wish come true for fan from Minnesota

Tess Mountain met her idol after Monday night's game

MINNEAPOLIS – Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade met one of his biggest fans Monday night in Minnesota, after a victory over the Timberwolves.

Shortly after 11 p.m., Wade tweeted out a photo of himself with Tess Mountain, a 13-year old with Cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome. Her family had started an online campaign to help Tess meet her favorite player.

Apparently it was not difficult for their message to gain support, since Tess' love for D-Wade is obvious to all who meet her. Family members told Local 10 Tess wears her Wade jersey almost every day.

Just a few days after the page was created, an update was posted that Tess would be meeting the star at some point during his visit to Minnesota. They posted a video with her excited reaction.

On Monday night after the game, her dream came true.

Her sister, Elizabeth, told Local 10 Tess has been obsessed with Wade since she received a poster of him at a book fair two years ago. For Christmas, she was given tickets to the game against the Timberwolves in Minnesota.

The  number of fans of the Facebook page nearly doubled after Tess' story was shared on Local 10 on Monday morning.

The Miami Heat defeated the Timberwolves 97-81, extending their winning streak to 15 games.
