The Florida Highway Patrol has released the name of the trooper hospitalized following a chain reaction crash on I-95.
According to FHP, 33-year-old Felicia Andrews was in serious but stable condition at Broward Medical Center Saturday night.
FHP said 33-year-old Felecia Andrews' cruiser was parked in the emergency lane on 95 at Commercial Boulevard while she was handling a fender bender Friday evening.
That's when a pickup truck sped down the lane and slammed into the cruiser, which rammed into another car and two others.
According to FHP, the pickup driver was Derek Adam Nelson of Miami Beach.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation Saturday night.
Charges against the driver are pending, FHP said.
