Florida cops are rolling out a patrol car/taxi as an advertisement against drinking and driving.
Take a look at the above picture: This brand new Martin County Sheriff's Office cruiser advertises what your options are if you are out drinking: "You can call a cab for about $20, or you can pay around $10,500 in fines and costs if you get arrested for DUI."
The department said that if the cruiser/taxi leads to at least one life being saved, it has made a difference.
On the hood of the cruiser, it reads: "Price subject to change without notice. DUI: Fines & Court Costs: $2,000. DUI School: $500, Attorney's Fees: $5,000, Increased Insurance: $3,000. Total: $10,000 plus Community Service or Jail."
The department rolled out the cruiser/taxi on Wednesday.
