Former FIU player Chandler Williams dies

Former FIU receiver Chandler Williams died Saturday night while playing in an Aventura flag football tournament.
He died from natural causes.
When Williams graduated from FIU, he left holding seven program receiving records. Williams caught 203 passes for 2,519 yards and 8 touchdowns. He was also FIU's leading receiver in the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
Williams went on to become FIU's second-ever NFL Draft pick when the Minnesota Vikings selected him in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL Draft.
Williams played in the NFL five seasons and was preparing to start camp with the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League later this year.
He was also a graduate of Miami High School.
Williams was 27-years-old.
