A girl found unresponsive inside a pool remains in critical condition on Sunday, Miami Fire Rescue says.
The incident was reported on Saturday after family members found the 3-year-old in the water.
It happened at a residence in the 3600 block of SW 18th Terrace.
As of 5:45 p.m. Sunday, the girl was sedated in the Intensive Care Unit at Miami Children’s Hospital, MFR said.
Investigators said it remains unclear how long the toddler was in the pool.
Authorities said the fact that the water was cold helped the girl's chances of survival.
