Global media descends on Lynn University

BOCA RATON, Fla. – With hours to go until the final presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, every wire, cable, and camera had to be in place at Lynn University.

Monday's match-up isn't just a debate; it's televised political theater.

The production has to look and sound good inside the debate hall, and every news organization has to be equipped and ready to capture it.

Media from around the world descended upon Boca Raton to witness American politics at work.

For Vladimir Bobetic, a reporter from the Balkans, the debate is his first assignment in the United States.

"It's very exciting. Actually, I'm traveling for the last ten days around America and making stories and now we're here in Florida for the debate," Bobetic said.

A crew from the Tokyo Broadcast System said the access here is better than they get at home.

"I think it's very open to the public. And it's very different," said reporter Toshiyuki Tanno.
