Going to Vatican City? Take cash

If you're planning a visit to Vatican City any time soon, be sure to carry lots of cash with you.
Tourists and pilgrims can now only pay by cash after card payments were blocked by Italy's central bank.
The move comes amid concerns over money laundering in the European Union. The block was put in place because bank officials were concerned the Vatican doesn't have adequate anti-money laundering controls, according to Reuters.
The incident has affected the Vatican's shops, post office and more significantly, its museums, according to CNN.
A notice on The Vatican museums website apologized for the inconvenience, citing "reasons beyond its control."
