Kids can travel over the rainbow at Miami Children's Museum
The Miami Children's Museum will host the return of the first-ever, licensed traveling educational exhibit, based on the movie classic, "The Wizard of Oz."
The interactive fantasy-adventure is a journey of self-discovery that takes children and families over the rainbow.
Guests travel from the Gale Farm where they can create a tornado in Dorothy's bedroom to the colorful Land of Oz where they explore Munchkinland and meet Dorothy's friends the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion and the Tin Man.
The exhibit first debuted in Miami in 2010.
The Wizard of Oz exhibit will be at the Miami Children's Museum, located at 980 MacArthur Causeway on Watson Island from September 22 through January 2013.
Entrance to the exhibit is included in admission which is $16 for adults and children, $12 for Florida residents and free for children under 1 year.
