Man with schizophrenia is missing

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. -

Police in Pembroke Pines are looking for a 33-year-old man who suffers from schizophrenia.

James Jones was last seen visiting his family Tuesday in the 8500 block of NW 10th Street. Investigators said he left the area about 9:30 p.m.

Jones was seen about 1 a.m. Wednesday at a 7-11 on University Drive and Johnson Street.

His mother said Jones has the mental capacity of a 12 year old and has a tendency to friend strangers.

Jones is described as standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a tan shirt.
