Police say a drunk Minnesota man broke into the Wisconsin Capitol building and was later found passed out on the roof.
Andrew Bishop, 21, smashed a window to get into the building in Madison on Sunday night, The Associated Press reported.
He then smashed another window by throwing a fire extinguisher through it, the Wisconsin Department of Administration said.
Although Bishop was ultimately apologetic, he was arrested and now faces charges of felony criminal damage and entry into a locked building.
His initial court appearance is next week.
