One man was killed and two others were rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital after a shooting in Liberty City just before midnight Monday.
The three victims were found inside a car near NW 43rd Street and 12th Avenue.
Early Tuesday morning, Miami Police were gathering evidence from a vehicle that had multiple bullet holes on its passenger side.
Police say one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene. One of the victims who was taken to the hospital is in stable condition. The third victim was treated and released.
Friends identified the man who died as Ladarius Evans, 21. They also identified one of the victims who was taken to the hospital as Quavon Washington, 18, who is Evans' brother.
It's still unclear where the three were shot. Police won't say whether they believe it happened at that corner or if the victims drove there after they were shot.
Local 10's Carlos Suarez reports that police were also investigating another scene at NW 15th Avenue and 44th Court where gunshot casings were found.
Investigators will not confirm whether the two are connected.
"There were numerous calls of shots being fired in the area," said Miami Police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes. "We are trying to see if there's another incident that may be related. We don't want to discard anything at this point."
