Open, closed in Broward County

Broward Transit shut down all transportation until sometime Monday. The Tri-Rail will be closed Sunday and Monday.

Broward County is reminding travelers to check the status of their flights and cruise lines before leaving.

Sandbags will be available for Hollywood residents on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the City of Hollywood Public Works Facility at 1600 S. Park Road and at Driftwood Community Center at 3000 N. 69 Ave. Proof of residency or business in Hollywood is required.

Courts in Broward County will be closed Monday.

The Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier and beach will be closed until further notice.

The Broward Community & Family Health Center's locations in Pompano Beach, West Park and Hollywood will be closed on Monday.

The City of Hollywood says offices and facilities will be open on Monday.

The City of Fort Lauderdale is suspending trash pickup until Wednesday. Parks and recreation activities will resume on Tuesday.

The Humane Society of Broward County opened a pet friendly shelter on Saturday.

Broward County Public Schools has canceled classes for Monday.
