Police: Boy, 6, hit by car

A 6-year-old boy was hit by a car while crossing the street with his grandfather, police say.
It happened at NW 125th Street and 2nd Avenue.
A Good Samaritan in the area came to the aide of the boy and administered CPR until rescue crews arrived, North Miami police said.
The child was taken to Ryder Trauma in critical condition. Police said he is expected to survive.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the boy has not yet been cited. The investigation is ongoing.
