North Miami Beach police detectives said they had arrested a suspect in a basketball court shooting that left one man dead.
Nalord James Marc, 19, was arrested Tuesday. He is charged with first-degree murder.
Marc is accused of shooting James Gelin, 21, four or five times while the victim was playing basketball on Dec. 1, said police.
When officers arrived, police reported that the court was empty except for Gelin's body on the basketball court.
Police identified Marc as the shooting suspect after interviewing witnesses and Gelin's family members.
Police said Marc admitted to shooting Gelin. Police believe the two had an argument on the basketball court before the shooting.
If you have any further information about this case, you may call Crime Stoppers at 350-471-TIPS.
