BSO said three men riding in a red Volvo pulled over Arthur Reeves on Florida's Turnpike near the Northwest 27th Avenue/University Drive exit in Miramar about 4:30 a.m. Friday.

When Reeves, 32, stopped, two armed robbers got out of the Volvo and stole his SUV, said BSO. A third person stayed inside the Volvo.

Police believe the Volvo driven by the carjackers was stolen from a man near a gas station in Hollywood on Tuesday morning. In that robbery, the driver of a red Nissan Altima flashed red and blue lights at the driver of the Volvo, pulled him over, and then two armed carjackers got out and took his car.

Anyone with information is asked to call BSO at (954) 765-4321.
